FELT LEFT OUT, a new play by Brett Crandall, tells the story of how the most colorful characters ever on ended up on "the street".
This dramatic parody transforms beloved puppets into belabored people and finally answers the age-old questions that have plagued audiences since childhood:
Why does he live in a garbage can?
Who turned that guy onto cookies anyway?
And, most importantly, are those two roommates...or roommates?
The story takes place in 1969, the year the children's show premiered and the year the Stonewall Riots occurred, cleverly merging the two worlds. Come and see what "Burt" and "Erney" were up to when the Gay Rights Movement began.
