- "The final Defender arrives" in a new trailer for Marvel's Iron Fist, premiering on Netflix next month. Danny Rand, the titular Iron Fist, is played by Finn Jones, who we know as the gay Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones. Expect more hallway fights.
- In other Netflix-related news, openly gay SNL and Ghostbusters star Kate MacKinnon will voice the beloved Ms. Frizzle in a new Magic School Bus series based on the classic educational children's books about a teacher who leads her students on fantastical scientific journeys. In the 1990s PBS Magic School Bus series, Ms. Frizzle was voiced by iconic queer comedian and actress Lily Tomlin. While the character has, to my knowledge, never had any romantic interests, going from Tomlin to MacKinnon is enough to make her an honorary queer icon in my book. - A behind-the-scenes glimpse at 2018's Avengers: Infinity War promises the Guardians of the Galaxy/Avengers team-ups I've been awaiting for a long time. Which character will annoy Rocket Raccoon the most?
