Illegally downloaded copies of "Born Naked" come with a hilarious twist.

RuPaul Charles' newest album, Born Naked, was released February 24th, just in time for the season 6 premiere of Rupaul's Drag Race.  The album title, based off the popular RuPaul quote "you're born naked and the rest is drag," debuted at number 85 on the Billboard 200.  This is Mama Ru's second charting album, the first being Supermodel of the World, released in 1993.

Ru has always been social media saavy, and the release of Born Naked has given the internet a taste of Ru's fantastic sense of humor.  An illegal copy of Born Naked that was leaked online turned out to come from none other than Ru.  The mock album features ten songs, but as it turns out, each song is just a way of poking fun at would be piraters.  "Freaky Money " features the quote "Girl, you just stole my album!" Another song states, “You done stole my album! Uh uh, no you better don’t, hooker!”

It's refreshing to see an artist take a cheeky stand against piraters, while still being inarguably fabulous.  Of course, I'm not sure any other artist could pull off a stunt like this and have it go quite so well.  No one does humor or music quite like Ru, but that's what makes her a superstar and an inspiration to us all.  Born Naked  is available for (legal) download via iTunes.

Remember, readers: if you can't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love someone else?  Can I get an amen?
