- The first teaser for next summer's Incredibles 2 has arrived, heralding the return of one of my favorite superhero families, and that adorable superpowered baby Jack-Jack.
- The new trailer for Ava DuVernay's big-budget adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time leans a bit too heavy on the blockbuster tropes for my tastes, but I'm still loving Oprah (and, heck, Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon as well).
- He's played the Pope, Dr. Watson (to Robert Downey, Jr.'s Sherlock), and will soon play a younger version of your favorite gay wizard (not Gandalf, the other one). Now, Jude Law will reportedly co-star in Marvel's Captain Marvel as Dr. Walter Lawson, the alter ego of the original Captain Marvel, aka Mar-Vell. Given that the film will be set in the 1990s, and that the comic book Mar-Vell famously died in a 1980s storyline (it's called The Death of Captain Marvel, so not really a spoiler), I'm not betting on him lasting beyond this movie.
