It's Superman live on stage!

Perhaps you've heard of that guy in tights from Krypton named Superman. But were you aware of the 1960s Broadway musical based on the Man of Steel? The much loved show is being produced by Encores at the New York City Center and some of us from Geeks OUT and Gay Geeks of NY are trying to put together a group to see it. A group of 10 or more people receives a 15% discount off of Encores' already low ticket prices, so we hope we can make this work!

With the group discount, tickets are $25.50 (originally $30), $51.00 (originaly $60), and $97.75 (originally $115). And while we want everyone to have a great time, we do have to lay out a few ground rules:

1) Because we need to purchase tickets all at once, we've set up a payment system through the Geeks OUT Paypal account. Therefore, sales are non-refundable.

2) Having said that, while the chances are low, if you purchase a ticket at a price that is sold out (e.g. you want a $25.50 ticket but those seats are no longer available), we will refund your purchase if you decide not to opt for a ticket at a different price point.

3) In order to get the best seats possible, the deadline to purchase your ticket is Thursday, February 14.

4) We encourage you to purchase your ticket via credit card through our Pay Pal account. However, if you must pay in cash, please contact Patrick directly at patrick@geeksout.org to make arrangements.

5) In the event that we do not make the group goal of 10 individuals, we will still attend the show. Therefore, you will be required to pay the difference in order to receive your ticket. For example, if you buy a ticket for $25.50 and we only have seven people in the group, you'll have to pay the difference of $4.50 plus any additional fees when we meet at the theater.

Phew! That's not bad, right? If you have any additional questions, please contact Patrick at patrick@geeksout.org.

Finally, below are the links to purchase your ticket and a clip from the 1970s ABC production starring Leslie Ann Warren. Looking forward to seeing you at the theater!
