Hope those of you at Flame Con are having an amazing time... I know I am. Meanwhile, there's still geek news aplenty this week, or at least enough to fill this space.
- Michael Sheen and former Doctor Who star David Tennant will take on the lead roles in the Amazon/BBC adaptation of Good Omens, the comedic fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett about a demon and angel who together seek to prevent the apocalypse.
- The late Adam West reprises his iconic Batman role one more time in Batman vs. Two-Face, a new animated film coming this fall. The also-iconic William Shatner voices Two-Face, which unfortunately reminds me of his recent reactionary online shenanigans.
- Disney XD's new Spider-Man cartoon, which premiered yesterday, includes the animated debut of Max Modell, a mentor for Peter Parker who is eventually revealed to be openly gay (he marries a guy named Hector, as seen above). As to whether that'll carry over to the cartoon, fingers crossed.
