- A new trailer for Wonder Woman offers up some more backstory for the iconic Amazon, though little in the way of queerness on Themyscira.
- In Hollywood, no franchise can be forever dead if there's money to be made, so it was perhaps inevitable that Warner Bros. would seek to revive The Matrix, the Wachowski siblings' hugely influential 1999 sci-fi blockbuster. Michael B. Jordan might be involved (though it's as yet unclear if the Wachowskis or any of the original films' cast will be), and it may not actually be a reboot, but it would be tough for it to disappoint that much more than did The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.
- A new preview arrives for this coming Tuesday's The Flash/Supergirl retro musical crossover, possibly the gayest superhero event of the year... that (as far as we know) doesn't involve gay characters.
- The debut of Starz's American Gods, the long-in-development TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman's much-acclaimed 2001 modern fantasy, is just a few weeks away. The new trailer promises all the sex, violence, and general stylized weirdness we'd expect from the combination of the network, the source material, and Hannibal creator Bryan Fuller.
Expect more on this site in the weeks ahead. We really should find someone to review that Flash episode...
