- We may have finally learned the identity of the villain in Wonder Woman, and it won't be a surprise to those familiar with the comics.
- Marvel's Inhumans TV series got its first casting announcement, and none other than Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton, Iwan Rheon, will star as the morally ambiguous Maximus (brother of the Inhuman king, Black Bolt). "Morally ambiguous" is enough to make his Inhumans character at least slightly nicer than his last major TV role.
- Fox has released a prologue to Alien: Covenant that introduces the franchise's latest (mostly) doomed space crew. This time, said crew is on a mission to colonize a planet; they're all couples, including a gay couple played by Nathaniel Dean and Demián Bichir. That makes them the franchise's first canonically queer characters (no, Aliens' Vasquez doesn't count, however delightfully butch). Granted, the gays will probably be killed by xenomorphs (or whatever variants thereof the film features), but at least queer people have an equal opportunity to be alien fodder.
As always, keep an eye on Geeks OUT for more.
