The 8-episode untitled series, is being described as “a love letter to the 80s classics that captivated a generation.”
According to TVLine the series starts off when "a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family, and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
Ryder will play Joyce, a working class woman and the mother of the missing 2-year-old. In the quest to rescue her son from terrifying forces, she summons a strength she never knew she had."
Winona has been involved with some amazing supernatural themed movies.
Admit it, you're going to sit through the inevitable Beetlejuice sequel. It's going to happen.
She made you wish you were the one being embraced by an handful of bad ideas.
And thanks to Bram Stoker's Dracula, we too imagined what it would be like to make out with Mina at night in the pouring rain.
So far, Netflix has been hitting it out of the park, and I'm definitely eager to see Winona shine in a new project that brings all the things that make her fabulous...the 80's and the Supernatural.
Except for Alien: Resurrection...just stay away from the Alien movies.
