"He's back..."
Skydance Productions is releasing the teaser trailer for the upcoming Terminator Genisys film with the full trailer to release during the upcoming Superbowl. For those of you, like me, who had no idea when that is, Superbowl XLIX is on February 1st, 2015.
Genisys will be the fifth film in the series, preceeded by: The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and finally Terminator Salvation. The franchise spans from 1984-present, with Schwarzenegger starring in all but Salvation. If you've seen Salvation, you'll remember that Schwarzenegger appeared, but it was actually CGI since Schwarzenegger did not want to return to the film but agreed to his likeness being used.
This newest film is slated revamp the series, "acting as a sequel, prequel, and reboot..." Other actors include Daenerys Targaryen Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke (no relation to Emilia) as John Connor, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. If you're bemoaning the reboot, take notice of Courtney here and see if that improves your anticipation of the film somewhat:

The 30-second teaser trailer is trying to drum up interest in the film, which some have stated could be "the nail in the coffin" for the franchise. Genisys is scheduled to release in the United States this summer on July 1, 2015.
