I'm overjoyed to see that Alison Bechdel is being recognized for her work by Out Magazine. From her groundbreaking work 'Dykes to Watch Out For' to her more recent autobigraphical 'Fun Home' and 'Are You My Mother?', Bechdel's been a pioneer in both bringing queer voices to the forefront of comics and showing how stories of LGBT people are at their core universal ones.
