Readers of Brian Michael Bendis' run of Uncanny X-Men should be all-too-familiar with the rough year that Alison Blaire (a.k.a. Dazzler) has had. Following a questionable change in career to become Maria Hill's mutant liasion to S.H.I.E.L.D., Dazzler was ambushed by Mystique, drugged, and kept in a comatose state in order for her DNA to be harvested in the producton of MGH (Mutant Growth Hormone).
Recently rescued by Magneto and reunited with Cyclops' team of X-Men, Alison clearly has some anger issues to deal with and payback to dish out... but first, it looks like makeover is in order.
Today, via Tumblr, Brian Michael Bendis shared Kris Anka's cover for Uncanny X-Men #24. It depicts the (now former) disco diva taking out some aggression on an image of her former self... all while looking like a post-punk hybrid of Siouxsie Sioux and Annabella Lwin from Bow Wow Wow.
What are your thoughts on Dazzler's new look? If nothing more, she and her sister can now swap fashion tips...
