Sex-bots: the way of the future! Now that I have your attention, let's talk about Gigahoes, a new comedy mini series written by Keven Gilligan and Adam Lash. Kevin is an improv and sketch comedy performer, and Adam has worked on the Daily Show, HBO, and the New York Comedy Festival.
Gigahoes is currently posted to Kickstarter. You can check it out here! The project is described as " a mockumentary, set in the future, that follows the escort agency, Artificial Intercourse, as they try to deal with the changing business landscape as new, better, and cheaper sex-bots are released." As the Kickstarter points out, Gigahoes is the first comedy series to elaborate on the idea of sex-bots.
The Gigahoes team did a recent inteview with Ethan T. Berlin (Totally Biased, Superjail!) for Berlin's new Kickstarter podcast. Listen to it over here. The Gigahoes interview starts at 22:20.
The project is looking to raise $5,000 for 12 episodes. Each episode will be eight minutes in length. Gigahoes hopes to film over the spring and summer, and release the mini-series in the fall. The deadline for the Kickstarter is May 17th.
