If you've ever dreamed of stepping outside the comfort of your room and going on a real life Pokémon adventure, then I have some good news for you! Alternatively, if you've never dreamed of having a real life Pokémon adventure, then I'm not really sure if you're human.
Anyway, fellow dreamers, as part of their annual April Fool's Day shennanigans, the Google Maps App for iOS and Andriod has released a Pokémon adventure that takes you all over the world!
To start, go to the search bar on your mobile Google Maps app and click "start," which appears under the search bar with a blue pokéball next to it.
The map will then take you to Google headquarters, now represented by a Pokélab. From there, it's up to you to find Pokémon all over the world.
When you tap on a Pokémon, the name will come up. Tap 'catch' to add the Pokémon to your Pokédex. There are 150 total Pokémon to catch.
Make sure to look out around the city tomorrow for Pokémon during your commute! A Rotom was spotted around Rockefeller Center, and there's a Buneary visiting the Statue of Liberty.
